Drat!

I was going to switch the lights on my wreath yesterday, and I did, but not enough. I discovered I had a set of multi-colored lights just like the clear “cool white” ones. So I headed out to switch bulbs, and I did. As I was working on this, I began to think that perhaps leaving some of the bright lights would be not a bad idea . . . but it was. So today I am going back out and switch the rest, although I’m fairly certain I’m going to leave three buried behind some branchlets to see if that works. I doubt it but you never know.
Good thing this wreath isn’t on the roof.

  1. If it turns out perfect you need to take a picture so you can reproduce it next year. Would eliminate all the hassel, but then I guess that’s part of the fun…or not?

  2. Well . . . I always need something that doesn’t go just right to spark the A & J in AmeliaJake. But it rained today so the thing is soggy and I didn’t change any more bulbs. Probably it will freeze and I’ll be out there with a chisel and gloves with the fingertips missing. Or I could bring it in and let it dry off . . . Hmm, I’m really starting to like this wreath challenge, so, yes, it could be the beginning of madness.
You know, I’ve got the old red pump out there on a bench by the wreath – the pump I got from Der Bingle’s mother. Well, it wasn’t red then.
Maybe I’ll go get the old-fashioned sled Robert William had a toddler. Mother painted it and it still says, “Robert William Special” on it.
    Oh, yeah . . . wreather madness.
