The box from LZP

We received a box from LZP – which I guess I already told you. He warned not to open until Christmas and Der Bingle said not to worry, we were always careful of boxes from him. Careful to the point of considering evacuation the house and opening it with fire log tongs with really long extension handles.

Then today, he apparently told Der Bingle to go ahead because I came out to find him sitting with a box of Christmas Peeps in a box on his lap.

This is LZP, who has been shown before in a banana suit.

This picture was taken by Sam, his son, and when it came in the email, it was labeled “Dad said to hurry up and take the picture.”

Here is a picture of Sam, who seems to be focusing son something in a strange place.

I kid you not – – this picture failed to upload three times because of a “security” problem. I tweaked it somehow and got it to go. It has to be the eyes . . .

This is the card that was in the box:

And here is what is written inside:

And here is a picture of one of the mugs:

And here are Sam and Jody:

So thanks for the peeps and candy and mugs  . . . and the tug on the heartstrings.

  1. He comes up with the most creative things, doesn’t he? I was gonna say the darndest things, but I wasn’t sure how to spell it. Is it even a word? Who cares? What you may not no is there are some hair combs, child size, on the shelf in Jody’s room. They came in the box you sent before Jody was born, along with a blanket from Saks Fifth Avenue, 3 Carter outfits, a doll, a butterfly toy and likely other things that i can’t recall. You said that when you shop and go by the baby dept., it sucks you in and you just can’t control your spending. Something like that. Jody still uses that pink and white, way soft, blanket to this day. It’s a treasure. (I’ve used it too!) Take care.

  2. Your phone call came when my phone was on the passenger seat with Sydney sitting on it . . . and when I listened to your voicemail, I was too touched to call back immediately. I will soon.

  3. That’s ok. Often times I just have to say what is on my mind and not write it. I hope I didn’t scare the crap out of you. But I wanted you to know how much you and Ron have helped our family so much in ways that you may not even see! Thank you,
    sue

  4. I see you rec’d Sam’s graduation picture by the Christmas tree! It was professionally taken in the home setting. Do you like it? That’s his “Wow” look. As for LV, I’m not sure about that one! I see he must be showing off the ornaments around the top of his head.
