Oh, I did not know I would be here now

I thought that I would hop on and say I’m here first thing this morning, but I got sidetracked. I have no idea by what at this time. So I am here now . . . and I don’t really have anything to say – not that that has ever stopped me from talking.

I might be hearing thunder now, or not. I sure heard it earlier when we drove through an incredible rainstorm to get to the nursing home to see Mr. Feller. We were on fast wipe and I would have preferred to have had even a higher setting. But, wait, I think I am hearing firecrackers now  – someone getting a big jump on the Fourth of July.

Mrs. Feller and I went out to Applebee’s after we got back; she had her usual shrimp and I had, oh dear, the same thing I had last time. She says she and Emory always ate at home because they could do so much cheaper than going out, but she wishes they had gone to restaurants more . . . because “we can’t do it now.”

Hey, I’m going to leave now to go check on the aerial shot of the nursing home – we couldn’t figure out how it was aligned in reference to cardinal directions.
