If he found this in his pocket at an airport . . .

I was not looking for anything on Amazon.com at all; I was just there because it was fate. Der Bingle is a pocket knife aficionado and has had a couple of experiences where he forgot and had to forfeit one at the airport.

If he had this one, he would simply not take the flight. No. Maybe if he could mail it to himself, he’d go, but that’s assuming he had time to do so. I am in awe of this knife – not so much that I am going to commit this amount of money to it. But if he does, I will totally understand.

  1. I lost my very favorite pocketknife at the airport security. They would not let me go mail it to myself. They would not let me leave the security line to go back with it in my possession at all. They said they were required to confiscate it no matter what and that leaving the line was not an option. I was very frustrated. I had totally forgotten it as it is just habit to have a pocketknife on me. (my upbringing?) Lately though I have noticed that our airport has no mailboxes in it anymore. I’ve no idea where you would mail it from if they would allow it.
