Sprint Time

My phone, a Sumsung Conquer from Sprint, thinks I am on Central Standard Time. I had to take it off the automatic setting to have it display Eastern Time. I realized it this morning, about right now as the sky has lightened; I was unaware of the situation when I awoke during the night. I was “lost in time” or at least displaced in time.

Personally, I think it is a sign that Indiana should be on Central Time – or at least not go on Daylight Savings Time if we remain in the Eastern Time Zone. Let’s see, how far east is the Atlantic Ocean? Oh, yeah, way, way far.

  1. I’m with you. We should be on Central Time, even your phone knows! When we first went to Daylight Savings my son in Florida called around 9 pm and asked what I was doing. I said I was waiting for the sun to go down so I could go to bed! He was surprised we were on Eastern time too. I don’t like Daylight Savings at all, but we really should be on Central Time. Have fun changing your clocks!

  2. My body is screaming 1:30 pm right now. The clock says 4:30 am. Gotta love jet-lag. I have a picture to send you in relation to a post you made…. I was standing in the middle of Uganda laughing and thinking of you. Well I wasn’t laughing because of you, but I was laughing because a post you made was a reality in Uganda…. oh drat, now I just need to send the picture because I’ve blown the lead-in….. jet lag. It’s not good for the mind.
