The grill

It’s been a long day. My older son, Summer’s father, received a new gas grill for his birthday and Summer and I put it together in the living room because it was in the 30’s outside. Things got a little warmer inside as two different generations of “Miss Grabbies” messed with directions, screws, washers – three kinds, and a black and white picture of colored wires.

Took us about four hours.

Personally, Der Bingle and I are charcoal people. Go figure.

  1. I put pulls on all my cabinet doors today. 47 doors/drawers. Did great until the last four. Got my template turned upside down and drilled the holes wrong. Had to go buy wood filler. Grrrr

  2. Four hours putting together a grill and no hot dogs to show for it? Bummer.
As for directions in things, my opinion is the manufactures need to have them written in English by a person who speaks English, in German by a person who speaks German, etc. Rather than relying on the computer or someone who thinks they speak the language to translate them. Colored wires with a black and white illustration!? I bet they laugh every time they imagine someone trying to put one of these together.
