It is 6:58 am and it is DARK here in Eastern Indiana. Dark, dark and dark. Getting out of bed in the morning is like getting up in the middle of the night. And that ain’t fun. I am in my adjustment period after a summer of waking up to the day’s light.
This is not a time of “up and at them.”
Waiting for Daylight could be a book title, but it is not something that I enjoy psychologically.
UPDATE:
Oh.
Okay we must be related in some way because I had the exact same thought this a.m. The hardest job I have all day is getting out of bed and the dark does not help. I’m glad I no longer have a paying job I have to go to every day because it is harder and harder to swing these old legs over the side of the bed. Funny how summer just runs down a rabbit hole in this state isn’t it? Oh well, we still have a hope of an Indian Summer don’t we? Good day to read a book.
