Cold and Diarrhea

Because I have an active cold that is keeping me from visiting people and because  sudden onset of diarrhea episodes are keeping me at home totally, I sat down and decided to try getting the pickle card video posted.

Maybe you didn’t need to know my reason . . .

But anyway:

Well, I had to go to YouTube:

I must research how to put imovie on blog . . .

Rats. It didn’t work. Let’s try this and it it doesn’t work, just know I have thrown myself under a leaning cow.

One thought on “Cold and Diarrhea”

  1. When my son was a ranger at Philmont Scout Ranch (several summers actually) he and the other rangers would thumb rides into town from folks. They had obviously paid great attention during the safety lectures they’d received through their years of Boy Scouting… Once he was talking about a trip into town and how they came back loaded in a car and they came upon a fellow ranger on the side of the road. My son described him as saying…. He was standing there waving his pickle like it was going to get him a ride. Okay, this mom thought all sorts of things when he said that. I went from a literal pickle to… well, places I probably shouldn’t have gone. I hesitantly asked him what a “pickle” was. He looked at me really weirdly and I immediately thought, oh no, OH NO!…. and my son said… “it’s what we call our green ranger shirts.”

Then he started laughing when he saw how red my face was and couldn’t believe I’d gone there.

That video brought it all back to me.
